What bought views look like — and what they don’t

This is the page where most tools would sell you a fraud score. We will not, and the reason is worth two minutes of your time: the signal is real, and it is nowhere near reliable enough to accuse somebody with.

  1. 1The total is the part that can be bought

Views are sold openly and cheaply. So are aged channels with monetization already active. A total on its own carries almost no information about how it was reached.

  2. 2The timing is harder to fake convincingly

Paid delivery is usually paced, because pacing is what keeps it from being detected. Earned attention arrives in bursts and falls away. Every video page shows the arrival shape so you can see which you are looking at.

  3. 3Why we show the curve and no score

A flat curve has innocent causes: a paid ad campaign, a steady embed on another site, an algorithmic recommendation plateau. A score would compress all of that into one number that reads as an accusation. We publish the measurement and leave the conclusion to you.

  4. 4What actually helps

Two things that cannot be purchased after the fact: how long we have been observing the channel, printed on every verified page, and the engaged-view figure, which requires the account holder to authorize the read.

What this cannot tell you

  • We publish no fraud score, no authenticity index and no flag, on any page, for anybody.
  • A clean arrival curve does not mean views were earned, and an odd one does not mean they were bought.
  • We cannot detect a purchased or resold channel. Every figure on one is genuinely real, which is exactly what makes it hard.
